Hey everybody, how's the going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K Source Snap and Zap Custom Fit Towing Mirrors here on a 2021 GMC Canyon. So to give you guys a better visual of what you're really gonna be seeing behind the driver's seat. So right now I'm standing directly beside the trailer. You can clearly see me in the factory mirror but if I out a couple feet away from the trailer which would sort of mimic the blind spots, when driving out in the highway a vehicle coming up on us, you can see we actually lose focus out of our factory mirror but now I come into focus of our aftermarket mirror. So now, if we see a vehicle here we know they're obviously we can't get over but if we don't see anything that would've safe to our blind spot is clear and we can successfully merge over. So that's really one of the biggest benefits I see of these towing mirrors here. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the long view custom fit towing mirrors here on our 2021 GMC canyon. So these are what our towing mirrors look like. Now, these towing mirrors are a custom fit meaning they're contoured to the exact shape of our factory mirrors. So this is not only gonna look the best. It's also gonna provide us with a tightest fit and a tight fit with towing mirrors is important because that's gonna lead to less distortion and a clear view. With some of those universal towing mirrors that use straps, they really have a tendency to vibrate when you're on the highway and distorting your vision is not something you want because what's the point of having a mirror. more

CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2019 GMC Canyon- Video
Colin: Hey, everyone. It's Colin here at etrailer. Today, we have a 2019 GMC Canyon. What we're going to do is test fit of the Cipa universal towing mirrors. Now these towing mirrors are going to be a great extension for your factory side mirrors. A lot of times when you get these smaller trucks or SUVs, they don't come with factory towing mirrors, but when you haul a trailer it's nice to have that extension so you can see in your blind spot which is going to make it easier when changing lanes on the highway or even if you want to back up into a parking spot. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2017 GMC Canyon we're going to be doing test fit on the K-Source Universal Dual View Clip On Towing Mirror, part number KS3990. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even backup while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror.Now, our towing mirror does have two mirrors. The larger one is going to give us an accurate reading of what's behind us, while the smaller mirror is going to be our spot mirror. It's going help us during passing or changing lanes. more

Today on our 2016 GMC Canyon we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA dual-view clip-on towing mirror, and that's part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's gonna allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Between both of the mirrors you get the same view. In the larger mirror you get a closer, more clear view. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. Both the larger and the smaller mirror can be adjusted to most angles. more

It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated three hundred and sixty degrees and can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our top and bottom, diagonal, and even side-to-side. You can see how the four tabs are not going to interfere with the operation or movement of our factory mirror, and we can even still fold it in. more

As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror and not in the factory mirror but if I take a few steps towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. This is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and side to side. By removing the Phillips head screw here at the back we can take the mirror out, turn it to the horizontal position. more
